Hello! we're The Wilsons, based in Sheffield, South Yorkshire. Although given half the chance we'd be living in Rhodes.

Our Greek love affair started many years ago, taking until 2008 to actually get our hands on a little piece of Greece. 

Having visited Rhodes numerous times we had always stayed in Lindos. In 2008 we ventured over to the west coast and stumbled across two local builders working hard, building five stunning little properties in their home village of Kalavarda. The rest as they say 'is history' .........

Our holidays in Rhodes have created so many wonderful memories. Sharing our little gem with guests is an absolute delight. In the twelve years we've owned the villa every single guest has had the most amazing time. Many of them are now regulars, returning year after year.

Let me give you a quick introduction of 'The Wilson' family.

Me (Karen)
I'm the one who looks after you from enquiry to booking and beyond. As well as owning The Citrus House I run my own travel business - Travel Counsellors. I love to keep active and can often be found running the local parks and tracks of Sheffield, playing various positions on the netball court, stretching it out at yoga or pounding the bags at bootcamp. I love good coffee, Greek food & sunshine.

Matt
A few days on the island and Matt looks like a true Greek. Happiest in his flip flops and shorts, Rhodes gives him the chance to step back from the busy day to day life of running his own business. A keen mountain biker, Matt is often peddling the hills around South Yorkshire and Rhodes! 

Liv
Aged 16 as I type this, she's the fish of the family. A strong swimmer and a lifeguard in training, she loves being in the water. Holidaying in Rhodes since she was 9 months old this little lady has the same love affair with Greece that we do. 

Meg
Aged 13 as I type, she is the dancer and can be found busting her moves at the local street dance school every weekend. Much like her dad it really doesn't take her long to look like a local.  Meg also loves being in the water and is fast becoming a bit of a surfer dude.

Steve & Liza
We don't have a photo of our amazing housekeepers. This lovely couple are a crucial part of our team and are your local contacts, cleaners, gardeners, general fix it people and pool maintenance. They absolutely adore animals, every kind from two legged to four and have been known to rescue many an animal over the years. It's quite likely you will meet them during your stay.
