Brilliant Affordable Car Hire

All of our guests this year chose to organise their car hire through us. Why? because they got a great price, no hassle and more often than not a high standard of car.

We’ve hooked up with a local car rental company and the owner “George” works hard to provide a brilliant service. Prices start at just 30 euros per day for a small to medium sized car.

A few weeks before you travel I obtain your driving licence details, this is emailed over to George who completes all the relevant paperwork prior to your arrival. Did you know that in Greece it is the car that is insured not the driver, therefore as long as we have records of all licence numbers you will be automatically insured to drive!

A week before you travel I email you the make, model, reg and colour of the car. On arrival at the airport you simply collect  your luggage, head out to the car park across from the arrivals terminal and your car (along with childs seats if requested) is there waiting for you.

There still remains a huge amount of trust in Greece and the paperwork and car key are left under the mat in the foot well of the car! jump in, load up and in 20 minutes you’ll have arrived at the lovely Citrus House.

It’s that simple!!!!

New Facebook Page Coming Soon…

So 2012 has crept upon us in the blink of an eye. As you can see I didn’t do much in the way of updates on our website last year, this however is all about to change. In the next couple of weeks the website will be dropped into our Facebook page which will mean visitors can not only hit the “like” button you can also share articles, view and post your own “You Tube” videos, leave comments, feedback and generally interact with us more. Availability Updates

Afternoon everyone,

I hope you’re enjoying the sunshine today as much as we are. The good old sunshine has jogged my memory to update you with the availability for The Citrus House.

Our bookings never seem to come at the “usual times” that you’d expect. Because we’re flexible and we hold our rate all year round (including school holidays) people know they can contact us at short notice. This is great and we’re pleased people feel able to do that. Just one word of warning, if you need specific dates to work around school, work, money, flights etc then please do contact us sooner rather than later.

We don’t like turning people away, as we want everyone to experience the amazing Greek Island of Rhodes. Here’s a brief overview of 2011 availability. For further information on dates please drop me an email or give me a call

We do offer long and short term winter breaks. The weather in Rhodes remains pleasant pretty much all year round. January and February do tend to be the rainy months, however temperatures don’t really drop below 15deg in the daytime. We also offer long weekends in the winter and spring months, so why not think about heading to Rhodes via Athens (an hours flight away) and taking in the sights and sounds of the capital?
